The Raiders arrive brimming with confidence after producing one of the biggest results of the season, upsetting Brisbane 28-4 in Round 6. Zahara Temara controlled the contest superbly, while Canberra's defence frustrated the reigning premiers.
Newcastle heads home looking to rebound after a 22-14 loss to the Warriors in Hamilton. The Knights led early but were unable to contain the Warriors' second-half surge.

The former NRL star who died for 16 minutes shares his two reasons to keep living
Nathan Stapleton survived a near-fatal injury during a rugby game after struggling to see due to dirt in his eye.

On April 9, 2022, a clump of dirt in the eye almost saved Nathan Stapleton's life.
Fixing a buggy on his family farm, the former Cronulla Sharks winger who played 61 NRL games, couldn't see. He nearly called off his three-hour drive to a one-off country rugby game in Boorowa, NSW.
Instead, he bought eye drops at the chemist and kept driving.
Hours later, Stapleton went to dive for the ball when his head was trapped in a ruck, which led to a severe C4-level spinal cord injury.

The Brisbane Broncos' hopes of winning back-to-back premierships have been given a huge boost after star Julia Robinson was cleared of any serious injury concerns.
Leaving the field in last week's loss to the Raiders, it was believed that the Australian Jillaroos and Queensland Origin star had picked up a suspected MCL injury.
While there were fears that she could have missed the rest of the season, she has been named to face the Roosters.
Meanwhile, the Wests Tigers have suffered a double blow with skipper Kezie Apps and star winger Emily Bass both ruled out as they host the New Zealand Warriors on Sunday afternoon.
