The Raiders three game winning streak has come to an end, following a 38-18 defeat against the Penrith Panthers on Sunday evening.

Mark Tuialii placed Canberra on the front foot early, crossing for two tries in the opening 20 minutes.
Despite the positive start, Penrith were quick to strangle momentum, running in five tries before the Raiders could respond with another of their own.
Canberra kept their hopes alive through Michael Asomua, who crossed in the 62nd minute, closing the deficit to just ten points.

It was a Sunday afternoon in May, but the Panthers and Raiders have put on September-like game of equal parts skill and intensity at GIO Stadium in Canberra.
The result was what most pundits consider might be the same as a certain Sunday in October too, the Panthers consolidating their spot on top of the ladder with a hard fought 30-18 victory.
The teams traded tries throughout the first half and were locked up just ten minutes into the second stanza before Penrith did Penrith things and choked the Raiders' attacking brilliance to run away with the match.
The Panthers were first on the scoreboard after less than five minutes when Blaize Talagi capitalised on a nice pass from Moses Leota that sent Dylan Edwards into open space.

Cleary scored a try and landed five conversions to go with two line breaks, two try assists and seven tackle breaks as the Panthers saluted 30-18 to take their record to 9-1.
Looking to emulate Greg Alexander's 1985 Dally M success, Cleary polled five votes to take his tally to 38, seven clear of Warriors forward Jackson Ford and eight clear of fellow Panther Dylan Edwards.
