Nathan Cleary and teammates enjoyed a beach day, swimming and strolling while others preferred local cafes for refreshments.

Nathan Cleary and his Blues teammates braved chilly morning temperatures to enjoy the Central Coast's scenic beaches.

Sporting budgie smugglers, Cleary and Panthers teammate Isaah Yeo were spotted taking a quick dip at Blue Bay Beach as players made the most of their day off on Sunday.

The bulk of the NSW squad avoided the cool ocean waters, preferring to pop into a local cafe in Bateau Bay, as they went in search of their morning caffeine fix and juice boost.

Canterbury skipper Stephen Crichton, Canberra's Hudson Young and Warriors forward Mitchell Barnett also had a laid back start to the day, going for a morning stroll to take in the local sights with coffees in hand.

Coach Laurie Daley was spotted further south in Terrigal having lunch.

Airline schedules are crucial in NRLW premiership and Origin-winning coach John Strange's life when it comes to his son, Ethan Strange.

There were mad dashes in and out of airports to watch Ethan's NRL debut in August 2023, when he was picked at centre for the Raiders to play the Storm at AAMI Park in Melbourne.

There will be more mayhem getting from the Blues women's camp at the Gold Coast to Sydney next Wednesday to watch Ethan's Origin debut against Queensland at Accor Stadium before returning the next morning to coach NSW in Game Three of the 2026 series at Cbus Super Stadium.
