Canberra Raiders are set to participate in 2025 NRL season opener in Las Vegas with three other teams.
The NRL has confirmed that the Canberra Raiders are one of four teams heading to Las Vegas for the opening of the 2025 premiership season along with the Sharks, Warriors and Panthers.
It's exciting news for Canberra to be a part of the second ever Las Vegas season opener, promising to be bigger and better than last year. Allegiant Stadium is the home ground of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders, namesake to the Canberra side.
"Our name came from the Raider NFL team. We can't wait to get over there and form a relationship with them," says Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner.
