    Wheelchair RL heads to Wagga

    Canberra Region Rugby League

    Rolling Raiders Wheelchair Rugby League (RRWRL) will be hosting a series of Wheelchair RL activities in Wagga Wagga this November, culminating with the Wagga Invitational on Saturday 11th at PCYC Wagga Wagga, 12-4pm.

    The Wagga Invitational will include an exhibition match/matches involving NSWWRL members from the Riverina, Canberra and Sydney, followed by a community come and try day. All equipment will be provided.

    RRWRL welcomes expressions of interest, with everybody welcome to join our Rolling Raiders representatives for a fun day of Wheelchair Rugby League as we seek to...

    Defibrillators saving Rugby League lives

    The Canberra Region Rugby League are proud to announce our successful efforts in receiving a grant from the IMB Bank Community Foundation based on the purchase of portable defibrillators for our local junior clubs.

    Each year, the IMB Bank Community Foundation provides a grants program that seeks to fund organisations that aim to "create more liveable communities and better outcomes for the people living in them".


    This year, 55 community-building initiatives will receive funding, and the CRRL is one of them.

    Touch Football: All Abilities Cup Wrap

    Canberra Region Rugby League

    Last weekend saw the inaugural Touch Football ACT All-Abilities Cup played at the Deakin Playing Fields in Canberra.

    Teams travelled from Orange, Wollongong, Wagga, the Hunter, and Sydney to play two Canberra teams.

    The Canberra teams, who are part of the All-Abilities Alliance Touch Football Club, have been training during the winter season and were excited to try their skills out on their new friends.

    All-Abilities Touch Football allows participants of all abilities to develop skills, play touch football, develop confidence, and create new friendships.
