As the Canberra Raiders march towards the tail end of the 2025 season, the prospect of hosting two home finals looms.

According to Fox League, with five games to go and a "soft draw", the Canberra side look certainties for a top two finish and two chances at home finals at GIO Stadium.

Raiders Centre Sebastian Kris said following the final home game at GIO Stadium on 30 August, the prospect of hosting home finals was very exciting.

"It's something we're starting to talk about," he told CD at a press conference on 6 August.

If you were to listen to Penrith and their cheerleaders you'd think they'd been hard done by.

The poor little fourpeat champions are apparently the victims.

But in reality all they've received is a slap on the wrist. Despite being systemic offenders - not once, not twice, but six times. Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold has indicated that Tom Trbojevic's position as fullback is uncertain, as Lehi Hopoate is anticipated to return from an AC joint injury. Hopoate has been sidelined for the upcoming game against the league-leading Raiders due to injuries sustained from a collision with Roosters fullback James Tedesco.
