Raiders fall to Bulldogs at GIO Stadium

Raiders lost 32-20 to Bulldogs at GIO Stadium, despite early pressure and strong defense.

The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders have fallen 32-20 to the Canterbury Bulldogs at GIO Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

In-front of a sold-out GIO Stadium, the Raiders charged up field to apply some early pressure.

Tom Starling played a short ball to Zac Hosking, who pushed his way through to score the first try in the opening minutes of play. Jamal Fogarty converted to make it 6-nil.

The Raiders' defence was superb at the start of the first half, with the Bulldogs unable to break through.
