Despite not lacking confidence, especially following an impressive season where he guided the Raiders to the minor premiership, he still experiences moments of self-doubt.
Part of this comes from the influence of coach Ricky Stuart, who, even at 58 and a quarter years old, still demonstrates an exceptional level of skill. Jonathan recalls, "Even at training now, he'll tell me 'grab the ball and kick it like this' and he'll do it perfect first go, and I'll be out there doing 10 reps and I still can't get it right."
