The Raiders are currently aiming for their first minor premiership since 1990, recently becoming two points clear at the top of the NRL ladder following the Bulldogs' loss to Brisbane.

Despite their successful position, the leaders are emphasizing that "the job isn't done yet." Having a couple of byes ahead, the Raiders are on track for a significant milestone, as they haven't held the top spot after 18 rounds since the NRL's inception in 1998.

Their last minor premiership, achieved in 1990, saw legends like Mal Meninga, Ricky Stuart, Laurie Daley, and Bradley Clyde secure back-to-back grand final victories.

Under Coach Ricky Stuart, the Raiders have cultivated a culture marked by resilience, accountability, and a strong belief in each other.

The Canberra Raiders are currently positioned to secure their first minor premiership since 1990, following a recent victory and a two-point lead over second place after the Bulldogs' loss to Brisbane.

With a bye this weekend and another in Round 24, they are in a strong position, marking a historic moment as they haven't topped the premiership ladder after 18 rounds since the NRL's inception in 1998.

The Raiders' previous minor premiership win came in 1990, a season highlighted by legends such as Mal Meninga, Ricky Stuart, Laurie Daley, and Bradley Clyde, who propelled the club to consecutive grand final victories.

Under Stuart's coaching, the Raiders have fostered a culture centered on "resilience, accountability and genuine belief in one another." However, the team's leaders emphasize that their journey is not finished, with a clear message: "We've got big targets."

Kaeo Weekes and David Klemmer charged by NRL for separate offences during Saturday night's matches.

Canberra Raiders fullback Kaeo Weekes and St George Illawarra Dragons prop David Klemmer have been charged by the NRL's match review committee (MRC) for separate offences during the matches on Saturday night.

According to reports from zerotackle.com, Klemmer was sin-binned for a high shot on Canberra prop Joseph Tapine in the latter stages of the Dragons' loss to the Raiders.

Although Klemmer was sin-binned, he was not initially placed on report.

The MRC later rectified this oversight, issuing Klemmer a Grade 1 careless high tackle charge.
