    Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has made the one forced change to his 17, with Mooney coming in for Saturday's game at Canberra Stadium.

    Papali'i's State of Origin resurrection means Corey Horsburgh will switch to prop, with Morgan Smithies shifting from the bench to lock.

    Initially contracted until 2026, Tamale's strong performance, including six tries and over 150 running metres per game in his 14 appearances this season, led to this extension.

    He noted that the decision to stay was easy, expressing his sense of belonging in Canberra and excitement about playing with the Raiders.

    This season has been significant for Tamale, who made his debut in Las Vegas, and he takes pride in being part of the current team and the club's history.

    Raiders back confirms contract call

    The Canberra Raiders re-signed Savelio Tamale for two years, extending his contract until 2028.

    The Canberra Raiders have confirmed the re-signing of outside back Savelio Tamale on a two-year extension.

    Already contracted for 2026, the former St George Illawarra Dragons junior who moved to the Raiders ahead of 2025 will now remain in the nation's capital until at least the end of 2028.

    Those numbers are currently on hold as he nurses an injury, but he is due to be back before the run into the finals, and Tamale said it was an easy decision to re-sign with the Green Machine.
