One Canberra Raiders star wonders where he would be without Scott Dureau. Another will never forget the way the former Newcastle half took him under his wing after moving across the Tasman.
Canberra duo Zac Hosking and Simi Sasagi have added to the stream of tributes flowing for the former Newcastle Knights and Catalans Dragons halfback, who died after a battle with cancer, aged 39.
Dureau played 42 games over four seasons with Newcastle before moving to France to play in the Super League, where he earned Dream Team honours in 2011 and 2012.

When The Canberra Times broke the news of his re-signing last month the haters were in full voice, with comments from Canberra Raiders fans becoming personal and including claims of nepotism.
It was a far cry from last season when there was plenty of praise for the way Stuart slotted in to cover long-term injuries - including being the one who started the run which ended in the "Miracle of Mudgee".

The Wests Tigers have shown a keen interest in rookie half Javon Andrews, who was spotted training with the first-grade squad on Tuesday.
As the team gears up for their match against the Canberra Raiders this Saturday afternoon, CODE Sports caught a glimpse of Andrews wearing a black training shirt during a team scrimmage.
Andrews has made a name for himself with an outstanding performance in the NSW Cup, where he played for the Western Suburbs Magpies, contributing four try assists, four line-break assists, and executing a line dropout in their 36-30 win over the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs last Saturday.
During the scrimmage, Andrews was seen collaborating with Jarome Luai, discussing formations and strategies.
