  • Umbrellas in the sheds? The leaks exposed inside Canberra Stadium

    Caden Helmers

Hudson Young supports upgrading Canberra Stadium, highlighting recent leaks and damage after storms exposed issues in the aging venue.

    The Canberra Times

Hudson Young sidestepped the plastic tub filling up with water in front of the Raiders honour roll lining the bowels of Canberra Stadium.

He dodged the drops falling in front of a picture of Terry Campese being embraced by Joel Monaghan and Marshall Chalk the day the Raiders put 74 points on Penrith.

  • Raiders make massive Papali'i call after star prop hit with suspension

    Caden Helmers

Josh Papali'i accepts a one-week suspension for a high tackle, missing the Raiders' match against Cronulla Sharks.

    The Canberra Times

Josh Papali'i will miss the Raiders' clash with the Cronulla Sharks at Canberra Stadium after accepting a one-week ban.

The Canberra veteran has entered an early guilty plea after being charged with a grade two careless high tackle charge in the Raiders' loss to Canterbury on Thursday night.

Papali'i ran the risk of spending two weeks on the sidelines if he fought the charge and lost, instead opting to cop a one-week suspension.

The 33-year-old's absence leaves a gap in Canberra's forward pack for the second time in the opening month of the season, after Papali'i missed round two due to a concussion.
