The Canberra Raiders have finally found someone to blow their custom-made viking horn in Las Vegas, after UFC Dana White knocked-back their invitation earlier in the week.

Las Vegas Raiders defensive tackle Tyler Manoa will blow the horn for Canberra's season opener against the Warriors at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday (Las Vegas time).

Raiders chief executive Don Furner said the club were eager to get a player from the club that's Canberra's namesake.

Ricky Stuart will unleash Queensland's next Harry Grant in Las Vegas when the final signing of one of the game's greatest talent spotters makes his NRL debut.

Owen Pattie will realise a dream first grade initiation in Sunday's US season-opener extravaganza against the Warriors at Allegiant Stadium.

The pint-sized hooker from country Queensland is a product of the same school - St Brendan's College in Yeppoon - as Maroons and Storm star Grant.

Lightbulb moment in Vegas with neon lights, LEDs, and NRL fan event at iconic Fremont Street.

Las Vegas: It's taken five days, but this was a lightbulb moment.

Which is ironic given the number of lights, neon signs and LEDs that keep Las Vegas lit up like a Christmas tree 24-7-365.

It's hard not to be impressed by the scenes at the NRL fan event at the iconic Fremont Street in downtown Vegas on Friday, where up to 10,000 rugby league fans crammed into the covered street.
