    The Canberra Raiders have been handed a horror start to the NRL season, with Ricky Stuart's men set to clock up 43,000km of travel in the opening weeks of their 2025 campaign.

    Canberra will undertake an unprecedented travel schedule, headlined by their 26,000km round trip to Las Vegas for the season opener against the New Zealand Warriors.

    Brumbies CEO unconcerned about clash with State of Origin, tickets selling well. Origin III on July 9.

    Tickets are selling well and ACT Brumbies chief executive Phil Thomson didn't know their clash against the British and Irish Lions was now going up against State of Origin III.

    That's how unconcerned Thomson was about taking on the Origin decider.

    The NRL announced the Origin schedule on Monday, with game three of the men's series to be played on July 9.

    The four new members of ACT Sport Hall of Fame

    Canberra sports stars inducted into ACT Sport Hall of Fame for outstanding careers.

    A cricketer, a basketball coach, a rugby league player and a basketball administrator walk into the ACT Sport Hall of Fame.

    Well, it wasn't a walk, but Canberra sporting giants Brad Haddin, Carrie Graf, Katrina Fanning and Ronald Harvey have been inducted into it on Monday.

    Both Haddin and Fanning are full members of the Hall of Fame having been honoured for their playing careers, while Graf and Harvey are associate members as a coach and administrator respectively.
