    Manly started strong, but Raiders dominated late to win after Trbojevic's early try.

    Manly started the game very strongly and even looked like they could put in the sort of performance to score a shock victory, but the Raiders lifted another gear in the last half hour of the game to comfortably win.

    Manly scored after three minutes when coming off their own line, sent the ball to the left to Tolutau Koula who raced 60 metres before kicking back in field, which bounced perfectly for Tom Trbojevic who scored under the posts. Reuben Garrick converted.

    Phil Gould supports Corey Horsburgh after his penalized shoulder charge against Manly's Jazz Tevaga.

    Phil Gould has backed the antics of Corey Horsburgh after he was put on report for a shoulder charge against Manly.

    With seven minutes left, Horsburgh lined up Jazz Tevaga and was penalised immediately.

    A fiery exchange followed from that, with Tom Trbojevic trying to control the situation. Tevaga threw the ball at Horsburgh before it landed in the hands of Matt Lodge. Lodge then threw it at him again.

    Canberra Raiders avoided sin bin while Manly trailed; Brooks tried to score but faced pressure.

    The Canberra Raiders were lucky not to lose two stars to the sin bin in the first half after a professional foul on Luke Brooks denied Manly a chance to level the scores.

    Manly were trailing by four points when Luke Brooks put a grubber kick on the last tackle towards the posts from 30 metres out.

    The playmaker chased his own kick before sending the ball further down the field with his boot, all the while attempting to defend off Kaeo Weekes.
