    Canberra Raiders avoided sin bin while Manly trailed; Brooks tried to score but faced pressure.

    The Canberra Raiders were lucky not to lose two stars to the sin bin in the first half after a professional foul on Luke Brooks denied Manly a chance to level the scores.

    Manly were trailing by four points when Luke Brooks put a grubber kick on the last tackle towards the posts from 30 metres out.

    The playmaker chased his own kick before sending the ball further down the field with his boot, all the while attempting to defend off Kaeo Weekes.

    Raiders mourn another club great as foundation player dies

    Canberra Raiders legend Mick Tilse, aged 67, passed away after a long illness.

    The Canberra Raiders have lost another legend of the club, Mick Tilse.

    It was confirmed on Tuesday that Tilse, Raider No.16, had died Monday night following a long illness, aged 67.

    It was just one day after the death of another Raiders great, the "one-of-a-kind", Sam Backo.
