    But it's inspired the Canberra Raiders star to set up his own company to help ensure it never happens again.

    But the Raiders hooker backed the Green Machine to do exactly that - vowing to atone for their poor defensive display last weekend.

    Starling said they had to bounce back against the North Queensland Cowboys this week and they were giving themselves every chance of breaking their five-game losing streak against them by flying to Townsville on Wednesday to acclimatise.

    Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has shifted NRL rookie-of-the-year-contender Ethan Strange to the centres as part of a backline reshuffle to cover the loss of Jordan Rapana.

    Rapana's been ruled out of their trip to Townsville to play North Queensland on Saturday due to concussion, after he failed his head injury assessment in the first half of Canberra's loss to Manly last weekend.

    With Rapana going into the 11-day stand-down, Sebastian Kris has shifted to the wing with Strange moving from five-eighth to play alongside him at centre.
