Corey Horsburgh met with Broncos coach Walters, toured facilities; wants to leave Raiders, possible contract end.

Canberra Raiders forward Corey Horsburgh has reportedly held preliminary meetings with Brisbane Broncos coach Kevin Walters and toured the facilities at Red Hill.

The middle forward is contracted with the Raiders until the end of the 2027 season, but has been given permission to speak with rival clubs over an immediate move.

That has reportedly led the aggressive forward to have fallen out with coach Ricky Stuart, and both parties now wish to cut the end of his contract as soon as practically possible.

Wantaway Canberra Raider Corey Horsburgh toured the Brisbane Broncos facilities on Wednesday and will meet with the Wests Tigers in coming weeks as well.

Horsburgh's also been in talks with St George Illawarra and Canterbury, with the latter deciding against chasing the fiery Raiders prop.

He's asked for a release from the final three years of his Raiders contract, which runs until 2027, and has been given permission to speak to other clubs.

In-demand Canberra forward Corey Horsburgh has met with Brisbane Broncos coach Kevin Walters and is set to catch up with Wests Tigers in the coming weeks.

The 26-year-old, who made his Queensland debut last year, is contracted with the Raiders until the end of 2027 but has been given permission to meet with other clubs to source a deal for 2025 and beyond.

The fiery Horsburgh, who has played just two NRL games this year, has been in stellar form for Canberra's reserve-grade side in recent weeks after a season marred by injuries and suspension.
