Delicate situation as Panthers face uncertainty with injured Cleary, while Raiders seek redemption.

Now, they are walking a delicate tightrope in the final month of the season with star halfback Nathan Cleary injured and a home final suddenly no longer guaranteed.

While their opposition this week, the Canberra Raiders, look virtually eliminated from the finals race after last Saturday's heavy defeat to the Cowboys, they remain a mathematical chance of making it.

It means, as much as this looks like a straight-forward win for the visitors, it could turn out to be anything but against a Raiders outfit with everything - including pride - to play for at GIO Stadium.

Capital Property Group extends sponsorship with Canberra Raiders, increasing jersey value to $2 million. Bright future anticipated.

Even before the Canberra Raiders were going to Las Vegas, Capital Property Group was looking to increase their support and go on the heart of the lime green jersey.

Their three-year extension of their Green Machine sponsorship will see the value of that jersey climb to about $2 million.

It's a boost off the field, but Raiders chief executive Don Furner would also like to see a boost on it - especially at home - but he felt the future was still bright.

Debate over 14th NRL Immortal with Glenn Lazarus as a notable omission.announcement expected soon.

With all this debate about a 14^th NRL Immortal there's been one glaring omission, and it's as clear as the eyes on the face of a brick.

A lot of the talk has centered around the NRL announcing Ron Coote, Cameron Smith, Darren Lockyer, Peter Sterling or Brett Kenny as the next Immortal on Wednesday night.

All great players. All great records. But then the same can be said of Glenn Lazarus.
