    Wife of Raiders star banned for 10 years after footy brawl

    The wife of Canberra star Josh Papalii has been banned from local football for a decade for her involvement in a brawl.

    Masepa Papalii has been banned for 10 years after the Canberra Region Rugby League (CRRL) found she entered the field during a fiery clash between West Belconnen Warriors and the Bungendore Kangaroos in the Katrina Fanning Shield on July 14. Her sister-in-law, Crystal Papalii, has been hit with a 20-week suspension for becoming embroiled in the incident.

    Crystal Papalii will appeal the length of the suspension, which was handed down by the CRRL. The hearing is expected in coming days.
