    Rumors of Elliott Whitehead retiring dispelled, potential move to Catalans or Super League clubs.

    When Elliott Whitehead said he wouldn't be going to Las Vegas next year, everyone assumed it was because he was retiring after this season.

    But then reports emerged out of England suggesting he'd signed with his old Super League club Catalans.

    While the Canberra Raiders captain has been in talks with the Dragons - along with a few other Super League clubs including Hull FC - he was yet to sign or agree to terms with anyone.

    Chevy Stewart has given Canberra Raiders fans another taste of his extraordinary NRL potential after a standout performance in the NSW Blues' Under-19s Origin victory, but says he's willing to be patient to get a bigger crack at first-grade.

    Stewart was named man of the match in the Blues' 14-10 triumph at Leichhardt Oval on Thursday night, securing the NSW side their third-straight Under-19s State of Origin title.

    NRL rookie Stewart was one of two Raiders represented in the Blues, alongside back-rower Noah Martin.

    Canberra Raiders likely to play in NRL's Sin City experiment in Las Vegas next year.

    A Green Machine army is expected to take over Las Vegas next year after an NRL rival withdrew from the race to play in the NRL's Sin City experiment.

    The Canberra Raiders are all but certain to be one of four teams confirmed for the 2025 season-opener in the gambling mecca. The NRL will likely announce the teams in the coming weeks.

    The Raiders had been one of the favourites to play abroad, with the club willing to give up a home game to be one of the four teams picked to make the trip.
