    And then there were four, and is anyone really surprised? After almost 2000 votes in the search for Canberra's greatest footballer, we're down to the Canberra Raiders' and ACT Brumbies' biggest names.

    The semi-finals (vote below) will come down to Ricky Stuart v Mal Meninga and George Gregan v Stephen Larkham.

    It shouldn't really come as a surprise that the quartet are the ones left standing.

    17 NRL teams select train and trial players for team list. Contracts vary per player.

    Entering Round 11 this weekend, all 17 NRL teams can choose their train and trial players for team list selection on Tuesday.

    Earning $1200 per week, there is no limit on how many contracts clubs were allowed to give at the beginning of the season, with some contracts lasting weeks, months, or the full season.

    Some players available for selection this week and the remainder of the season include Brad Arthur's son Matt Arthur, second-rower Clay Webb, and several former NRL players who have moved to new teams, such as Ethan Quai-Ward, Declan Casey and Ethan O'Neill.

    Ricky greenlights Magic Round return of veteran Raider

    Ricky Stuart approves Jordan Rapana's return as fullback for Canberra Raiders in Magic Round.

    Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has green-lit the return of fullback Jordan Rapana for Magic Round on Friday, which will cause an intriguing backline reshuffle.

    Rapana, Chevy Stewart and even Sebastian Kris are all possibilities to wear the No.1 jersey against the Canterbury Bulldogs at Lang Park, but Stuart has seemingly locked in Rapana for the pivotal role after five weeks out.

    The 34-year-old underwent minor surgery to repair a meniscus tear in his knee in early April following the Raiders' win over the Eels in round five.
