    It was almost as big as a $50,000 hole-in-one. There was more on the line at Brookvale on the weekend than just the four points.

    A handful of Canberra Raiders were playing for a golf trip to Australia's top courses - Barnbougle, on the north coast of Tasmania.

    Raiders star Joe Tapine was worried if the 20-0 scoreline kept going in the wrong direction against Manly, his coach Ricky Stuart might have cancelled their days off this week and got them back on the training track.

    Raiders land boom halfback on three-year deal

    Raiders sign Ethan Sanders, will join team in 2025 after finishing contract with Eels.

    The Canberra Raiders' future is looking even brighter with the signing of boom halfback Ethan Sanders.

    It's believed the Parramatta half has signed a three-year deal to join the Green Machine from 2025.

    It's also believed the 19-year-old wants to see out his contract with the Eels, the Raiders happy to let him continue his development with the Sydney club before coming to Canberra at the end of the year.
