    The Canberra Raiders have confirmed Jamal Fogarty will miss up to three months due to surgery on a biceps injury.

    Fogarty, who had enjoyed a stellar start to the season, is set to miss more than 12 weeks after rupturing his biceps in the first half of his side's loss to Brisbane on Saturday.

    The halfback's absence is likely to be destabilising to Ricky Stuart's side, who will likely turn to Kaeo Weekes to fill the void.

    Raiders find out Fogarty's injury fate

    Canberra Raiders and Jamal Fogarty face setback with 3-month absence due to biceps injury.

    It's a massive blow for the both the Canberra Raiders and Jamal Fogarty, with the halfback set to miss the next three months.

    Fogarty will undergo surgery on Tuesday for the biceps injury he suffered in the Green Machine's 34-10 loss to Brisbane on Saturday night.

    The 30-year-old had scans on Monday with the results revealing what Raiders medical staff suspected - he'd ruptured his biceps just before half-time.
