Harawira-Naera suffered seizure, diagnosed with heart condition, fitted with defibrillator, during Rabbitohs game.

When Corey Harawira-Naera suffered a seizure mid-game against the Rabbitohs in Round 13 last year, it was one of the more distressing images I have witnessed in 35 years of commentating.

It's obviously not on the scale of Alex McKinnon and John Farragher, but it was a worrying sight nonetheless.

Harawira-Naera was diagnosed with an underlying heart condition and has been fitted with a defibrillator under his arm.

Cronulla Sharks facing fine for trainer's interference, while Raiders secure contract for Ethan Strange.

The NRL looks set to fine the Cronulla Sharks for their trainer distracting Jamal Fogarty's potentially crucial conversion attempt last weekend.

It's believed the Sharks will cop a $5000 fine because their trainer Daniel Holdsworth unnecessarily ran into Fogarty's line of sight as he took his kick.

The news comes as the Raiders move to tie down young gun Ethan Strange.
