NRLW Saturday: Raiders, Sharks kick off Round 4
Raiders host Sharks in NRLW Round 4; Bulldogs face Dragons, both seeking to improve 1-2 records.

After pushing the high-flying Roosters to the limit last week the Raiders will be out to make amends when they launch the NRLW Saturday triple at home against the Sharks.
The Sharks are yet to open their account but the 2024 grand finalists have proven countless times that they can rise from the canvas when things are tough.
The Bulldogs and Dragons do battle in the second Saturday clash with both sides boasting 1-2 records and looking to build.

Canberra coach Ricky Stuart has little sympathy for fellow rivals Wests Tigers ahead of their crunch clash at GIO Stadium on Saturday.
The Tigers are in turmoil following star halfback Adam Doueihi sensationally ruling himself out of the game after disagreeing with head coach Benji Marshall's call to parachute him to lock.
It was another drama the joint-venture club, who must win to keep their hopes of making a first NRL finals appearance since 2011 alive, could do without.
Marshall has also copped criticism over Jarome Luai's early departure to Parramatta next year ahead of his move to the PNG Chiefs in 2028.

'Some worries': Chink in Panthers' armour exposed
Penrith's defense, particularly on the left edge, is a concern for coach Ivan Cleary ahead of finals, despite their current top ladder position.

Ivan Cleary's blunt response said it best when the Penrith coach was asked if he was concerned about the Panthers' defensive frailties on their left edge.
"Yes," the Penrith coach said on Thursday after his side survived a scare to beat Parramatta 24-18.
The Eels scored two of their three tries down that side where Isaiah Papali'i starts in the backrow, Blaize Talagi slots in at five-eighth, with Casey McLean at centre and try machine Tom Jenkins on the wing.
Penrith remain on top of the ladder and on course for the minor premiership, but the last fortnight has shown their left side defence has some vulnerabilities that could be exposed come September.

Jenkins sets new record as Panthers edge past Eels
The Panthers beat Parramatta 24-18, solidifying their NRL lead despite playing 20 minutes with 12 men; Tom Jenkins scored his 26th try for the season.

Penrith have survived a scare at the hands of rivals Parramatta, claiming a 24-18 win to strengthen their outright lead in the race for the NRL's minor premiership.
The Panthers moved four points clear of the second-placed Warriors, who face Canterbury on Saturday, with a victory earned after they were forced to play 20 minutes with just 12 men.
Tom Jenkins and Isaiah Papali'i were both sinbinned for professional fouls at CommBank Stadium on Thursday but the Panthers, who didn't take the lead until the 57th minute, were able to prevail.
