The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg sides came away with a win and a loss at home against Wests on Saturday afternoon.

The Raiders NSW Cup side returned to the winner's circle on Saturday night, defeating the Magpies 32-4 at home.

Wests scored their first and final try of the evening through Jeral Skelton in the corner.
It was one-way traffic from then on as Canberra piled on six straight tries to bag an important win.
Savelio Tamale scored the first two of the night before Chevy Stewart put the nail in the coffin with a 70 metre dash to score under the posts in the final minute.
The Raiders have a tough schedule of games ahead, taking on three top five sides as they look to make a finals run.

Adam Doueihi meets with Benji Marshall, Wests Tigers for peace talks as future remains up in air
Wests Tigers' Adam Doueihi meets coach Benji Marshall about his future; training resumption confirmed after positive discussions.

Peace talks between Wests Tigers star Adam Doueihi and coach Benji Marshall are done and dusted, with Tigers officials expected to address the playmaker's future later on Monday.
Doueihi was driven away from the meeting - which lasted less than an hour - by his agent Isaac Moses.
It is understood Marshall and chief executive Shaun Mielekamp were involved in discussions over Doueihi's future at the club given his decision to miss their game against Canberra at the weekend because he wasn't in the right head space to play.
"Adam, Pat Richards, Benji, and I had a positive meeting this morning," Mielekamp said.
"Adam will be at training tomorrow."

Drinkwater, who advanced through the Melbourne Storm ranks, found himself hindered by several prominent players ahead of him. This prompted his decision to join the Cowboys in early 2022, signing a five-year contract.
The transfer has proven beneficial for North Queensland; although they haven't secured a premiership, Drinkwater has established himself as one of the league's most formidable fullbacks.
In contrast, the Broncos opted to recruit Reece Walsh, who remains with the team to this day.
