Canberra will be eager to rebound after their 22-10 loss to Cronulla. While the result was disappointing, the Raiders remained in the contest for long periods and showed enough resilience to suggest they remain firmly in the hunt for a finals berth.
The Cowboys also enter Round 5 searching for answers following a 34-6 defeat to the Gold Coast Titans. North Queensland have yet to find winning form this season, but Magic Round is a fresh opportunity to reset their campaign.
The Raiders have been at their best when they control possession and build pressure through their forward pack. Despite last week's loss, there were periods where Canberra challenged Cronulla's defence and looked capable of turning the match.

Jason Taumalolo and Jayden Campbell were the only two players to go perfect in Zero Tackle's NRL MVP for Round 21 as another mixed week of votes ensured the leaderboard continued to close.
Taumalolo led the way through the middle third in the North Queensland Cowboys' win over the Brisbane Broncos, while Campbell caused the Dragons all sorts of headaches in the Gold Coast Titans' win on Sunday afternoon.
In the other games, our judging panel couldn't agree on top spot, with a host of players named.
All of Nathan Cleary, Jack Williams, Thomas Jenkins, James Tedesco, Daly Cherry-Evans, Matt Dufty, Ashton Ward, Keaon Koloamatangi, Ethan Sanders, Daine Laurie, Jacob Preston, Stephen Crichton, Nicho Hynes and Braydon Trindall were given the maximum five votes by at least one judge.

Adam Doueihi expected to return to Wests Tigers training following crisis talks
Adam Doueihi will return to Wests Tigers training after resolving differences with management.

Adam Doueihi has smoked the peace pipe with Wests Tigers powerbrokers and is expected to return to training on Tuesday.
Doueihi and his manager Isaac Moses met coach Benji Marshall, chief executive Shaun Mielekamp and football manager Pat Richards at the club's Concord headquarters on Monday morning to thrash out their differences.
Mielekamp emerged from the crisis talks claiming the meeting was "positive" after weekend fears Doueihi had played his last game for the Tigers.
Contracted until the end of the 2029 NRL season, Doueihi was said to have fallen out with Marshall after making himself unavailable for Saturday's 56-10 loss to Canberra.
