    CRC Team of the Year 2025: Fullback

    Connor Williams named Fullback in 2025 Team of the Year, scoring 19 tries for Queanbeyan.

    Congratulations to Connor Williams (Queanbeyan Blues) on being named Fullback in the 2025 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year.

    Despite, playing majority of the season in the five eighth position, Willliams featured in the fullback role on seven occasions which sees him qualify for the team of the year as the Number One.

    The crafty playmaker played an integral role in the Queanbeyan Blues charge towards the Canberra Raiders Cup premiership, scoring 19 tries.

    Williams also represented Monaro this season in a performance which saw him star with three tries.

    His best performance this season came in Round 10 against the Queanbeyan Kangaroos, where he crossed the line three times...

    ACT Announce Team for 2025 Wheelchair Nationals

    ACT announces squad for 2025 Wheelchair Nationals, aiming for Joseph Chidiac Cup victory.

    The Canberra Region Rugby League is proud to announce the squad members who will represent the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) at this year's Wheelchair National Championship, later this month on the Gold Coast. 

    Competing against six other teams from across Australia, the ACT will look to claim the Joseph Chidiac Cup in the inaugural championship which is a significant milestone in the growth of Wheelchair Rugby League. 

    Along with the National Wheelchair Championship, the Wheelaroos will take on the reigning world champions England, in an exciting Ashes series.

    Westpac Blues Tag Gala Day Wrap

    Canberra Region Rugby League excelled at the Westpac Blues Tag Carnival, winning multiple titles.

    In an action-packed day of League Tag action, the Canberra Region Rugby League had a successful carnival, as both Opens and Under 16s claimed the Minor Premiership, with the Opens going all the way to the Grand Final.

    After a successful tournament last year, the CRRL Open's outfit was out to defend their crown in the 2025 Westpac Blue's Tag Carnival. 

    A dominant group stage saw CRRL claim 18-0 victories over St George and Western Australia, with the side remaining undefeated after drawing with the Central Coast.
