Shawn Blore moves from Melbourne to Brisbane on a two-year deal, reuniting with coach Michael Maguire to strengthen the Broncos after a poor NRL season.

Out-of-favour Melbourne second-rower Shawn Blore will join Brisbane as the Broncos hope to regroup following their disastrous NRL premiership defence.

The 26-year-old had been linked with a move to the 16th-placed reigning premiers before his two-year deal was announced.

"He has a hardworking approach to his football and we're excited about what he can bring to the Broncos," said Broncos general manager of football Troy Thomson.

Blore is set to reunite with coach Michael Maguire, who handed the second-rower his NRL debut at Wests Tigers in 2020.

Jayden Brailey is leaving Canberra, signing a two-year deal with Wests Tigers starting in 2027.

    The Canberra Times

After weeks of speculation, it has been confirmed that veteran hooker Jayden Brailey is leaving the capital.

Brailey was linked to a move to the Wests Tigers last month, and on Wednesday the Sydney club officially announced a deal had been locked in.

The 30-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Tigers starting in 2027, following just one season playing for the Green Machine.

It was reported last month that Brailey was seeking a move to Sydney on compassionate grounds, and now he joins the club his grandfather Brian Brailey played 16 games for between 1960 and 1962.

Wests Tigers signed hooker Jayden Brailey from Raiders on a two-year deal, enhancing coaching options with his versatility.

The Wests Tigers have announced the signing of Canberra Raiders hooker Jayden Brailey on a two-year deal starting next season.

The Raiders have released Brailey early, who was still contracted for the 2027 season in the nation's capital, but will instead link up with Benji Marshall at Concord.

Brailey offers 170 NRL games of experience across stints at the Cronulla Sharks, Newcastle Knights, and Raiders since his debut in the Shire in 2017.

It gives Marshall and the Tigers' coaching staff selection options, with Brailey's versatility allowing him to play both lock and hooker at a high rate.
