We love the mighty Canberra Raiders
Referee Grant Atkins placed Paulo on report in the first half of the Raiders' 26-18 victory after the prop entered a tackle late and wiped out the legs of Canberra prop Joe Tapine.
Tapine hyperextended his knee and left the field for medical attention but managed to return in the second half.
On Sunday, the match review committee handed Paulo a grade-one dangerous contact charge that carries a $1800 fine with an early guilty plea.
Corey Horsburgh is ready for State of Origin, but the Canberra Raiders lock will be happy if he just makes the Queensland squad.
The fiery redhead admitted he needed to be smarter after he was sent to the sin bin for punching Parramatta forward Ryan Matterson, although Horsburgh felt it was more of a push than a punch.
Former Maroons coach and Raiders legend Mal Meninga labelled it as "dumb" during the Green Machine's 26-18 victory over the Eels on Saturday night.
Parramatta and NSW enforcer Junior Paulo might be on report for a cannonball tackle, but his coach doesn't think he has a case to answer.
Paulo appears unlikely to cop a lengthy ban that would keep him out of State of Origin's series opener in two weeks, despite leaving Canberra prop Joe Tapine requiring medical attention after hyperextending his knee.
He's one of two players from the Eels' 26-18 loss to the Raiders who'll be checking the judiciary's charge sheet on Sunday morning and assessing their Origin eligibility.
