Hudson Young has heard it all before, and it doesn't bother him or his teammates one bit.
Despite being second-last on the NRL ladder, this Sunday's clash against the Dragons might just be the start of an epic climb to the finals for the Green Machine.

A Canberra Raiders cult hero is set to make a surprise return in Sunday's clash with the St George Illawarra Dragons, as another star player was dropped.
The Raiders have been dismissed as premiership contenders and lashed by pundits over their recent performances.
But with their backs against the walls and the last-placed Dragons coming to Bruce, there's a big chance for the Green Machine to rebuild some confidence and show the NRL there's still quality in the capital.
The Raiders will be boosted by Simi Sasagi being named in the centres, returning earlier than expected from his shoulder setback. It's one of three changes to the side that copped a 42-20 shellacking by the Melbourne Storm last weekend.

Young update as Raiders open raft of contract talks to ward off NRL rivals
The Canberra Raiders are negotiating contract extensions for Hudson Young and other young players, while re-signing Jed Stuart.

They've already moved to lock in Hudson Young, now the Canberra Raiders have opened talks with a raft of young guns to build for the future.
Talks with Young have progressed, with the Green Machine looking to re-sign their future captain for another two or three years.
Young's one of a number of Raiders players off-contract at the end of next year, who will be free to talk to other clubs come November 1.
To stop that from happening, the Raiders have opened talks with Ethan Sanders, Sebastian Kris, Xavier Savage and Joe Roddy.
