    Tom Starling has fired back at a reporter for going "too far" into claims about a possible "rat" leaking information from inside the Raiders camp to rival teams ahead of the finals.

    Mind games are not uncommon leading into the major finals battles, but it seems the intimidation tactics between the Raiders and Broncos have reached a new level.

    The Courier Mail reported Brisbane were receiving inside details about the fitness of Josh Papalii after it was confirmed the veteran prop had suffered an ankle injury.

    Raiders won minor premiership but lost to Dolphins 62-24 after resting players in Round 26.

    Winning the minor premiership in Round 26, the Raiders had a strong season, finishing with a total of 19 wins and five losses.

    Though, after resting a multitude of players in the last round, they did not finish the home-and-away season with a bang, instead they were defeated by the Dolphins 62-24, which was their first loss since Round 22 against the Dragons.
