Jarrod Croker discusses Josh Papalii's injury ahead of Sunday's final against Brisbane.

Canberra legend Jarrod Croker has revealed the extent of Josh Papalii's injury but stopped short of saying it will keep him out of Sunday's qualifying final against Brisbane.

The Raiders are sweating on the veteran prop's fitness after he went down at training on Tuesday with an ankle issue.

He was named in the team on Tuesday afternoon but the club statement said Papalii will "will be assessed closer to the game".

Reece Walsh will play fullback for Broncos in qualifying final despite calf issue.

Superstar Broncos fullback Reece Walsh has been named in the No.1 jersey for his side's qualifying final against the Raiders in a promising sign that he will be fit despite a calf issue.

Walsh was seen grabbing at his calf during a training session on Tuesday but the 23-year-old has been named at fullback for Brisbane's game against Canberra in the nation's capital on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Broncos coach Michael Maguire has recalled Gehamat Shibasaki for the Raiders clash after axing him last week due to reportedly turning up at training hungover.
