    Raiders star Hudson Young has opened up about his contract options after Canberra officials made a key move in a bid to prevent him from entering free agency.

    It can be revealed that Young's agent Sam Ayoub was in Canberra last weekend meeting with coach Ricky Stuart and club chief executive officer Don Furner.

    It was on the sidelines of a first grade footy match at Woden Park on Saturday that the trio got together, and the NSW Blues back-rower coming off contract after the 2027 NRL season was a key subject of discussion.

    Young has declared his desire to continue to play under Stuart at the Raiders long-term.
