    If losing the game wasn't humiliating enough, Canberra made sure to rub salt into the wounds of Brisbane.

    Raiders players hijacked the Broncos press conference by singing their song loudly from a neighbouring room while Michael Maguire and Adam Reynolds spoke to media.

    The revved-up Green Machine had just sprung a huge upset to win the game 32-22 in the nation's capital on Saturday night.

    Ricky Stuart praised versatile player Zac Hosking for his performance in Raiders game against Broncos.

    Raiders coach Ricky Stuart tried not to single out any one player for praise following his
    side's thumping win over the Broncos
    on Saturday night, but when pressed he couldn't help himself.

    That off-season the late bloomer signed a three-year deal with the Raiders, inked last January, and Hosking burst out of the blocks at Canberra before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury last April.

    Stuart was asked about his most versatile player, Zac Hosking, who started the game on an edge before shifting to lock and then into the front row.

    Hosking, 28, made his debut at the Broncos in 2022 before moving to the Panthers and was devastated to be overlooked for the 2023 grand final.

    Raiders bring Broncos back to earth with impressive win

    Canberra Raiders dominate early, Broncos make a comeback with Jesse Arthars scoring twice.

    The Canberra Raiders started fast in front of their home fans despite an early few minutes of pressure from the Broncos when Matty Nicholson broke through some soft defence to score. The Green machine extended their lead when fan favourite Josh Papali'I was able to get over after Seb Kris knocked the ball backwards and the Raiders big man scored under the posts.

    The Broncos showed their class making a comeback with a 10 minute double to Jesse Arthars, the first coming when he just burrowed with power at the line and got it down despite the attention of three defenders whilst the second saw a peach of a pass find Arthars from Ben Hunt to score in the corner.
