    Corey Horsburgh's wait for a return to NRL action with Canberra is set to continue, with the firebrand prop sent off for punching in the club's reserve-grade game.

    Horsburgh was dismissed in the second half of the Raiders' 24-18 NSW Cup loss to the Warriors in Auckland on Saturday after taking exception to a tackle from back-rower Jacob Laban.

    One-time Queensland State of Origin forward Horsburgh appeared to throw a headbutt at Laban, before then unleashing a flurry of punches.

    Storm stars set to miss clash with Raiders

    Melbourne's Ryan Papenhuyzen expected to miss NRL game due to injury, previously sidelined for ankle fracture.

    Luckless fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen is likely to miss Melbourne's NRL clash with Canberra on Saturday night due to another injury.

    Papenhuyzen missed the Storm's captain run at AAMI Park on Friday after a heel issue kept him sidelined through the week, while skipper Harry Grant was a spectator after playing State of Origin.

    Papenhuyzen was only one game back having missed five NRL matches with a right ankle fracture.

    It was the same ankle he broke in week one of the finals against Brisbane last year, after he missed 13 months with a shattered kneecap.
