Sydney Roosters star halfback Sam Walker will make his long-awaited comeback from a major knee injury by returning in the NSW Cup on Sunday.

The 22-year-old has made a full recovery from a devastating torn ACL suffered nine months ago while playing against the Raiders in round 26 last season.

The outstanding talent has increased his training loads over the past three months to the point of which he has been back training with the NRL squad since last month.

With the Roosters enjoying a bye round this weekend, a return via reserve grade is an opportune time for Walker to regain his timing...
