    The Canberra Raiders made the past two weeks special for Josh Papali'i, but his only focus is on getting his beloved Green Machine on an end-of-season roll.

    Now the Raiders great says they have to turn things around against the Cowboys or it's "goodbye" to their season.

    The Raiders rolled out the red carpet at Canberra Stadium on Saturday to honour Papali'i in his first home game since reaching the 300-game milestone last weekend.

    It was a horror 20 minutes in the second half that cost the Canberra Raiders - conceding six tries as Manly ran all over them.

    But Raiders coach Ricky Stuart felt the NRL bunker was to blame for a couple of controversial calls that went against them in the 46-24 loss at Canberra Stadium on Saturday.

    The loss means the Raiders might need to win all four of their remaining games - against North Queensland, Penrith, the Sydney Roosters and St George Illawarra - to play finals.

    Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has once again taken aim at the NRL's powerbrokers, claiming referees are "confused" by the "noise" being made by higher-ups.

    After a captain's challenge, the Bunker referee deemed Cook instead had control of the ball and kicked it forward before collecting it on his way to the tryline.

    Stuart took aim at two decisions made by Grant Atkins, but immediately deferred blame from the on-field referee and instead pointed it further up the chain.

    The first was Adam Cook's try that was denied after he was deemed to have knocked the ball on in clear space in the first half.
